The Best Gift For A Mom Who Gardens

My son Matt called to talk to me about tomatoes, never mind that I know zippo about veggies and only grow a few herbs, his heirloom container grown beauties were already sporting fruit and he wanted to share his excitement with me. He has pepper plants, basil and, be still my heart, Phlox paniculata and Echinacea purpurea, also in containers.

The kid who refused to help do any garden work is now gardening and calling his mother to chat about it.

Thank you Matt for the best Mother's Day. Seriously, the best gift ever. I will carry this one in my heart forever.

xoxo

PS Hoping this Mother's Day fills your heart with sweet memories.
