The kid who refused to help do any garden work is now gardening and calling his mother to chat about it.
Thank you Matt for the best Mother's Day. Seriously, the best gift ever. I will carry this one in my heart forever.
PS Hoping this Mother's Day fills your heart with sweet memories.

Hear, hear. My son Matt took me on a garden tour. Loved spending time with him in gardens!ReplyDelete
That is wonderful! I'm sure you'll have many chats about gardening in the years ahead!ReplyDelete
You raised that man right!ReplyDelete
That is indeed a gift to be treasured!ReplyDelete
There is no better gift than to see the love of gardening sprout and grow in our children. Well done, Gail.ReplyDelete
I agree, nothing better than talking about gardens, or visiting gardens, or working in gardens together with our children.ReplyDelete
I had a similar call today. I was telling my son how I was going to have to protect my plants from a possible frost today, and he said he still had his inside the house. He has plants! That's how it starts! A couple years back, he tried to grow cucumbers in a pot on the balcony of his apartment, and that's when I knew I had him.ReplyDelete
What a fabulous gift...my niece is watching her boyfriend garden...I'll take it.ReplyDelete
It is gratifying that your son is now gardening. Ha.. I can imagine how exciting it is to hear those words. I am lucky that my daughter loves flowers and does lots of flower gardening. My son has called me to ask what kind of flower is blooming. He notices these things. FUN.ReplyDelete
So sweet, Gail. My daughter called me last spring for ideas for the best plants to plant in Houston. I knew nothing about Houston gardening, of course, but I was so excited she was interested that I did some research and sent her a list of suitable plants. When she called to thank me, I found out she wasn't planting anything--the ideas were for a friend:) Oh well, I guess my garden conversations will continue to be with friends instead of my kids.ReplyDelete
I know exactly what you mean...I'm charmed that Sarah and Erik have a small veggie garden at their house, or at least they will if spring ever comes to Minnesota!ReplyDelete
How gratifying that your love of gardening has rubbed off on your son!ReplyDelete
we had a visit from our second son on Mother's Day and we not only talked about the garden - he pruned the wisteria that was starting to climb under our metal roof. What a good son.ReplyDelete
And we never think we rub off on our kids. Ha! Sometimes they fool us. How sweet of your son to chat with you on it.ReplyDelete

do as you are watching the webcam show go on. Physical therapy can improve gross motor skills and improve coordination, including balance.
The videos and pics are also fantastic should
you do not feel like sex chat, but you want to fool around with your
girlfriend and attempt some new points. What much more would 1 want when the live lady performs your each and every want.
