IMPATIENT!

I love you guys, but I have to stop typing (after this post) until Dr J gives me the okay! Nothing can stop me from reading your posts!

Warmest wishes for the return of 'normal' winter temperatures!

  4. Hi Gail ... I understand about have to wait... to be patient with an injury or just having to rest so our body can heal. Think of all the wonderful things our hands allow us to do and make sure you rest in honor of yours. Yeah ... it is easy to say or write. I am so sorry you have to go through this, and hope the time will pass quickly. I will miss your wonderful posts, but I am glad you are doing what is best for your well being. Speedy recovery! All best, Carol

  6. The waiting is the hardest part! Are you in for my seed swap this year? I can arrange it so you're at the end of the list, so your wrist has time to recover!

  9. Too bad you can't get Mr. I to type while you dictate, but then you're not the dictator type. I hope you heal quickly.

  12. Yes, please follow the Dr.s orders so you can be good as new again. :-) We want you around for the long term! Happy New Year!
ps. A return to "normal" would be good even here in Colorado where the lower to mid 40's is our usual norm. We haven't seen those temps in quite a while!

  14. Whenever a recuperation looms, I thank heaven I am a reader. I hope you are too. Time never drags when I read a book - and I get all that insight, inspiration, education and pleasure at the same time.
    Get well and strong.

  31. I know this is such a bummer for you! But, we want what is best for you. I think even getting caught up reading other blogs you enjoy would be a challenge. It is so difficult to read them and not comment. I had never heard of this syndrome. What is it they say about thumbs separating us from the you-know-what! :) Thumbs are super important, take care of yours.

  32. Hope you get better soon. Ignore those devilish impulses that pop up as soon as we are told we can't do something and must rest instead :-) Enjoy your blogging break.

  33. Hope you're able to get back to typing soon, but until then take care of yourself!

  34. Gail so sorry to hear about the surgery on your hand I do hope you are soon well.

Takes me back to when I had arthritis and muscle weakness in my hands and even blowing my nose was painful oh so many problems all gone now. Makes me wonder how many people with illnesses could have undiagnosed Lyme I sometimes sit waiting for a bus or train and see so many with sticks and wonder what if they like me have lyme and don't get diagnosed!

Sorry I digress I am just so greatful to have my health again.

I have got so behind with blogging but I do hope you get over your surgery quickly and ready to start the new gardening year soon.

  35. If this had to occur now is the time as ole man winter won't let you do much digging.
Best of all I hope you heal fast & have no more problems.
    Stay warm.

  37. Good luck Gail and please heed the doctor's advice. We'll just have to learn to live without your posts for a while. Take care!

  38. Gail, I do hope your hand is feeling a bit stronger each day and that your return to gardening and blogging happens soon! Hard as it is to follow the doctor's advice, you'll be glad you did. Catch up on books & movies, especially those with a gardening theme. I've had the Brit TV series Rosemary & Thyme recommended to me and I personally vouch for the movie Greenfingers (Clive Owen can work in my garden any time)!

  39. Get well soon, Gail. Take good care of your health first which is MORE important for you to work in your beautiful garden.
    Happy New Year!
