  1. All the same to you Gail. I hope your surgery went as expected and you will be at the keyboard asap. I am sure you will feel quite queenly while keeping that hand elevated. ;) Cheers.

  6. I find as Monica does that having enough is more of a state of mind than anything. Change what you can and be happy with the rest. May your new year be blessed and your recovery go swiftly.

  14. Lovely New Year's thoughts Gail - thank you.

Good to see you're on the mend, and even feeling Queenly! I'm sure Mr. I is taking excellent care of Your Majesty, and your royal court of Prince Coal, the squirrels, birds and other wildlife are providing entertainment and distraction as you recover.

Happy New Year Gail, and may you, too have enough of everything, with lots of rest and more than enough healing and recovery at the top of the list of good things I wish for you in this new year.

  19. Thank you, dear Gail for your well wishes... I like all of them and take them to heart. Do take good care of yourself and recover quickly. If there is a good time of year to be propping your hand up ... I suppose January is it. You will be good to go whence spring rolls around. Happy New Year, my friend.

  20. Thank you, Gail, and best wishes to you, too! I had to read back through all the comments to see what I had missed about being the "queen"--ah, yes, take advantage of this chance for Mr. I and Coal to do your bidding:) I hope you're sitting on the front porch with a good cup of coffee right now watching the birds--and maybe a chipmunk or two--frolicking in the garden. Wishing you a speedy recovery!

  28. Hi Gail, Thank you for your warm ny card. I have also discovered blogging is not necessarily a healthy activity for the body. I'm trying to stop every hour to do neck exercises. It's a pain in the neck! (lol) Wishing you a happy and healthy new year! Cheers, catmint
