Well, That Was Certainly A Surprise Post!
Boy is my face red! Too funny! I was quickly typing a title for a post for tomorrow and hit publish instead of save! It didn't even occur to me to see if anything was published. Nor had I corrected the typing errors! I thought blogger had eaten my title and I just went outside to garden. Imagine my surprise to see a published post and comments.
You are good people!
Forgive me my sloppiness and inability to type while looking at the screen!
But, it was delicious outside today!
Gail

Is there such a thing as Fall Fever?
ReplyDeleteOr how about a new one, Missing Mondays. LOL. I still love the other post, and was looking for what the title described.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking, everyone else seems to see it, what are they seeing that I am missing.
Jen
I deleted it! But I fear it will haunt me for awhile! Joy Gardenjoyforme) had a great post about it! gail
ReplyDeleteDang, I wanted to read it! Or look at the title.
ReplyDeleteYes, these kind of things happen. I'm so glad you found your published post, after all.
ReplyDeleteDarn, I missed it! Sometimes Blogger is slow at updating my blogroll on my sidebar, so I don't see a post until it has been up for a few hours. I spent the day in the garden...and then the early evening on the couch:) My body has been too sore to move to the computer until now. Would have loved to have seen this and all the comments:)
ReplyDeleteThe asters, false dragonhead, and solomon's seal are all now safely ensconced in my garden--complete with a little clay from Clay and Limestone!
I've done that before too Gail! It's easy to hit the wrong button.
ReplyDeleteDave, It was the s instead of a w on hat that was too funny! gail
ReplyDeleteShoot, I missed it.
ReplyDeleteGlad you got some gardening done. I did but now so sore that I can hardly move. That rod in my leg just won't bend. LOL
Gail, Sometimes the surprise is that anything turns out at all! ha!! ;-) So glad you're enjoying beautiful weather!! Happy Fall.
ReplyDeleteI've hit the wrong button before too. :) Today was gorgeous here too.
ReplyDeleteLOL! I didn't see anything. ;)
ReplyDeleteLOL, I knew something was wrong there...
ReplyDeleteI saw it but didn't comment thinking I was the slow one. i was gonna come back and see what everyone else said. I so completely trusted you that I thought you were saying something intelligent and insightful.
ReplyDeleteNow I've made my fair share of big huge mistakes and then there are the plain dumb post that no one got but you are right---garden bloggers and readers are the best folks.
Oh, too bad you deleted it! I was actually worried just a bit. Did her computer crash? I wondered. Did they have a horrible storm?
ReplyDelete(I'm still grinning thinking of that post and the GardenJoy post about it)
Sorry I missed it. I usually post late at night and have made plenty of mistakes.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to pop over and visit Gardenjoyforme.
Ah, that explains it! I thought I was missing something because of my bad English... ; )
ReplyDeleteI missed it too, well never mind. Enjoy your day.

It's not supposed to be perfect everytime Gail. This "type" of thing is what let's us know there are real people behind these blogs!! Glad you had a good gardening day..
ReplyDeleteAmazing how the body moves and the brain is 3 seconds behind. I'm all in favour of giant red buttons saying "think before you press"!
ReplyDeleteDon't feel bad Gail. I have hit that darn publish button before with much worse on the screen. I just luckily got it back before someone saw it.That post was good for a laugh. At first I was like Jen and thought what is wrong with me I can't see it. Then I got to thinking I had a new word to use in a Scrabble game. tee hee...
ReplyDeleteShat is now going to enter the garden blogger world's lexicon!
ReplyDeleteDon
Hummmmmmm. Sounds like what you say when you hit the wrong button. ;-)
ReplyDeleteOh, no, you deleted it?!!! Well, I probably would have, too... I kept thinking about what you'd think when you got back to the computer and saw the comments!
ReplyDeleteLOL! :-) You are a good sport, too.
ReplyDeleteYesterday was a perfect gardening day - to be repeated today!
Have fun!
I hit the wrong button way too often and then scramble to try to fix the mistake;) I spent quite a while yesterday trying to figure out what you were saying. It sounded sort of Shakespearean, don't ask me to explain that;)
ReplyDeleteMarnie
Well, I thought it was funny. It is good to keep a sense of humor about our oops-es. It certainly got folks wanting to see what was up.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gracious post and lovely photo
ReplyDeleteWell darn! I'm always late to the party. Sounds as though your 'post' was good for a laugh and certainly shook up the blogging world. Just think of the story you can tell at Spring F;ing next year. :)
ReplyDeleteNow it makes sense - I'm new to Blotanical, and I thought I was missing out on some inside joke, or something!! Too funny....
