Sort of Wordless Wednesday

"To be nobody but yourself -in a world which is doing its best, night and day, to make you like everybody else- means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight, and never stop fighting." ~ E.E. Cummings

  1. Are you back or are you ghosting again in order to keep us amused?
Wherever you are: have another ice-cream on me!

  2. Great quote--I've never heard that one before. e.e. cummings is a good example of following his own advice, though.

  5. Hi everyone,

I did have another photo in mind but this one was so fascinating with the unique mailbox! I saw it on a walk the day I was working on Mostly WW. Our mailboxes in the south are a unique part of our yards! Is that true elsewhere?

Glad to hear from you all!,

  6. I like the mailbox. Although I vaguely disapprove of painting rocks.

  7. Mail boxes around here have mostly given up on being themselves. We have a mail slot in our door, which is a bit unique around here. It reminds me of "Thing" from the Adams Family when I see the mailman's hand as he pushes the mail through the slot.

I don't think he much likes delivering our mail on days when my big black dog George is barking at his hand on the other side of the door. I suspect the mailman would prefer we had a generic mailbox instead of our more unique old-fashioned mail slot.

  8. That mail box is much more interesting than the ones we have around here.

Sorry I haven't visited much lately, but I've got so many projects up in the air right now it's crazy!

  10. Tina,

Thank you! It's hard to come back from a great beach vacation to see the garden dry from lack of rain!
