  4. Hi Gail, it's been an ugly winter here. What I wouldn't give for one lovely patch of color in my yard. Those petals are so pretty with the sun shining thru. When I lived in Tennessee and Alabama, I so loved the long, long springs.

Gail, it's been so long since I blogged, I've forgotten how. I found a couple hundred spans in my comments and cannot remember how to set comments to prevent that. Will you email me if and when you have a spare minute so I can pick you brain about spam filters. mhughes47@att.net

  8. One of my favorite pictures is crocus lit up by the sun....your Tommies are lovely. We had crocus but they are curled up tight as we just got more snow...sigh

  9. Are those Tommies? They look like a deeper purple. You must have really got down amongst the flowers to get that angle.

  10. I love how the sun shines through giving the crocus such a fragile look, it is really beautiful.

  13. They do look like worshipers raising their hands and praising God. Lovely!

  16. So nice to see the teeny purple blossoms up close and personal. I'm hoping mine will have their teeth together as the next winter storm marches across Lake Ontario. Off to the basement and my light table - I simply refuse to look out the window.
