I'll Bee Back

I'm heading out of town~again~But, this time, I am going to meet our son in Colorado where he and his dad, the infamous Mr I (Mr I Tear Down This Hedge) will be participating in an event with biking, an obstacle course and crawling through a mud pit.
I'm so glad it's them and not me!

I'll be on the sidelines snapping photos. Later we'll head up to the Estes Park neighborhood<-live web cam. It's been decades since we visited this fantastically beautiful part of the country with its breath taking scenery. I love the Rockies and the scenic drives with its knee shaking precipices. I am more excited than you can imagine after weeks of 100+ heat index temperatures to be heading to the mountains and evening temperatures below 60F. What a treat. We'll also bee in Fort Collins to visit friends, public gardens and if we can arrange it a visit to fellow blogger Kathleen (Kasey's Korner) who lives nearby. Kathleen's blog is a delight and her artistry shines through in every photo.

My younger sister, Terry, volunteered house sit while we're gone. Isn't she a doll. It's easier to leave knowing that she will be here to watch over Coal and keep those containers watered. I wonder how she'll feel about Zen Watering after a week of standing out there in the heat.

See you all soon my friend,

xxooGail

  3. Oh I know you'll have a wonderful time - spent some time in the Durango area one summer - gorgeous, and I agree on the knee shaking drives - worth the fear though, I think :)

  17. Hi Gail, Oooh... I hope you're taking lots of photos. Yeah, the literal mudslinging doesn't sound like my cup o' tea either. Much more fun to be on the sidelines with the camera.

Don't let those knees shake too much. We want you back in one piece. Have fun dear friend.

  21. First of all I would like to say awesome blog! I had a quick question which I'd like to
ask if you do not mind. I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your head prior to writing.
I've had trouble clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out
there. I do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10
to 15 minutes are usually lost simply just trying to
figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or hints? Kudos!
