I live in Woodlawn but the other house we own is in Indiana. It is complicated being military but we tend to collect houses and visit other places.tinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17415302577518111227noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3093185160483906357.post-10671989389186722002008-04-03T17:16:00.000-05:002008-04-03T17:16:00.000-05:00Tina,I didn't realize you were in Indiana.I can't ...Tina,

I didn't realize you were in Indiana.

I can't believe how much rain the central section has gotten

Take care,
GailGailhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16194325535496408116noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3093185160483906357.post-74256105064336931642008-04-03T13:40:00.000-05:002008-04-03T13:40:00.000-05:00Yes Gail, Our other house is in Evansville Indiana...Yes Gail, Our other house is in Evansville Indiana just two hours north on the Pennyrile. It is on the Ohio and it ALWAYS stays flooded up there. It never fails to amaze me when I see all the lakes from the river. A car was actually flooded in the middle of a road not far from our house. I had never seen that before. The driver just abandoned it. Now the road is closed and they are reworking it. What a pain!!tinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17415302577518111227noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3093185160483906357.post-37275315994548606492008-04-03T13:06:00.000-05:002008-04-03T13:06:00.000-05:00Tina,it is bad up north, really not that much furt...Tina,

it is bad up north, really not that much further north of you...the Tennessee River was flooded and so was the Ohio...all the ponds and streams were flowing into the corn and wheat fields.

GailGailhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16194325535496408116noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3093185160483906357.post-84386909595770059082008-04-03T13:05:00.000-05:002008-04-03T13:05:00.000-05:00Frances,Yes we do need this rain and what luck to ...Frances,

Yes we do need this rain and what luck to have planted so much...aren't plant packages exciting. Did manage to mow yesterday, and the mailman just delivered the new fig tree, or should I say fig pinky finger, not a big planting job, that one! But easy enough between rain events. Hooray for the rain, we need it and the plants look happier for it.
FrancesFrances,https://www.blogger.com/profile/03616568389165362993noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3093185160483906357.post-19605533416880797642008-04-03T11:47:00.000-05:002008-04-03T11:47:00.000-05:00Lots of rain, but it is not too hard-just lots. Could be worse, just north of here they are getting flooded.

I always try to plant before a big rain too. And mow! That is a task while I don't mind doing-it is time consuming.tinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17415302577518111227noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3093185160483906357.post-89640588915788874692008-04-03T10:27:00.000-05:002008-04-03T10:27:00.000-05:00gardengirl,Sounds idyllic as spring should be...gl...gardengirl,

Sounds idyllic as spring should be...glad the sun is shining on your garden.

GailGailhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16194325535496408116noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3093185160483906357.post-26033440134455318002008-04-03T10:20:00.000-05:002008-04-03T10:20:00.000-05:00Good timing for your rain! We're having our second ...Good timing for your rain!

We're having our second day in a row of bright sunshine.
