It's so beautiful Gail. I get wha...My goodness! It's so beautiful Gail. I get what you mean about the opening of the canopy. I feel that way about my front yard. It is so dark once the trees leaf out. Of course, I'm grateful for the trees because they cover the house in the hottest of days, but this is the golden hour. I've noticed the fall foliage of my phlox, too; the penstemon you shared with me several years ago also has lovely fall color.
