Home of the Practically Perfect Pink Phlox and other native plants for pollinators

Dear Santa,

Would you please help me remember to count my blessings each and every day in the new year.

I know, I know, this is the same thing I ask for every year and you might think I would have this one figured out by now, but, it's too easy to get swept away by the terrible things that have happened in the world, to let fear take over, or, to let dissatisfaction sour life. Today and every day here after, I will celebrate that I am blessed to have a wonderful and supportive spouse, a son who has grown into a man we are very proud of, a snug and cozy home, a garden that makes me smile, and, the best friends-here in town and all across the blogasphere- that a girl could ever want.

While I have your ear Santa, please, please make sure, my dear friends and loved ones have a holiday filled with love, friendship and celebration.

I'm super-excited because my landscaper just added a bunch of Hypericum frondosum to my front yard. Can't wait to see the show next year!! :)
